Dale Olm

Dale Olm is Principal Consultant, Human Resource Management and Organizational Development, for Government Consulting Services, a federal government department. Working as an HR practitioner early in his career with the Alberta and British Columbia provincial governments, Dale was involved in several organizational design projects, and in the process identified two key issues: first, the lack of good information on what types of organizational design best fit specific types of work; and second, the lack of good methodology to conduct a review of organizations.

In 1992, Dale joined Government Consulting Services and set out to build a greater understanding of the impact of organizational design and to develop a methodology for examining an organization's structure. Over the past 14 years in the federal government, Dale has been involved in hundreds of OD projects. Dale is a graduate of University of British Columbia.

Dale is an instructor on the Organizational Design program.
