David Weiss
Dr. David Weiss is President and CEO of Weiss International Ltd. David and his team of organizational consultants lead innovative consulting projects that generate effective strategy, leadership, and HR solutions for Boards, executives and senior leaders throughout North America and Europe.
Some of his most recent projects include: facilitating senior executive strategic planning and team building; designing and facilitating the Leadership Excellence learning curriculum; identifying organizational designs and structures to enable strategy to occur; developing strategy to enhance employee engagement and alignment; coaching executives and facilitating their individual and group development; and facilitating internal service departments and HR to become strategically focused.
David received his doctorate from the University of Toronto and has three Masters Degrees in Education, Psychology, and Philosophy. He is a Senior Research Fellow of Queen's IRC, Affiliate Professor of the Rotman School Of Management of the University of Toronto, and a Faculty Member of the Technion Institute of Management. He has been honoured internationally by a number of organizations including: honoured as a lifetime “Fellow” Canadian HR Professional by HRPAO; rRecipient of the “HR Leadership Award” by the Asia-Pacific HR Management Congress; recipient of the “HR Distinction Award” by Israeli Human Resources Association; and honoured as a “Lifetime Member” of the Global Directory of Who’s Who.
David is a sought-after keynote and motivational speaker and has appeared in both the print and television media for professional comments in his field of expertise. He has written more than 30 journal and trade articles and three best-selling business books: The Leadership Gap (Wiley, 2005, co-authored), High Performance HR (Wiley, 2000), and Beyond the Walls of Conflict (McGraw Hill, 1996). His fourth book, Leadership Solutions (Jossey-Bass, co-authored, 2007), was published in September 2007.
