Deborah Leighton

Deborah Leighton

Deborah Leighton, an arbitrator and mediator, is an adjunct professor and research associate in the Master of Industrial Relations program offered by the Queen's School of Policy Studies. Before joining the school, she was a practising lawyer.

Her public appointments include vice-chair, Ontario Public Service Grievance Board; adjudicator, Board of Inquiry of the Human Rights Commission; vice-chair, Ontario Grievance Settlement Board; third party neutral, Ontario Education Relations Commission; and adjudicator and referee, Office of Adjudication, Ontario Employment.

Deborah is a faculty member in IRC's Labour Arbitration Skills program.
