Jean-François Pinsonnault
Jean-François Pinsonnault is a senior learning and development consultant with Canada Mortgage and Housing Corporation (CMHC). Jean-François guided the organization in the review of its learning and development processes as well as the the implementation of the Corporation's Talent Management Strategy and Succession Management review. He is responsible for all aspects of second language training and testing and was instrumental in launching the organization's on-line language testing procedures.
As a mediator, Jean-François provided training and coaching in mediation and negotiation skills to a variety of groups, including CMHC’s internal auditors, peacekeepers serving in Haiti, and weapons inspectors bound for Iraq.
Before joining CMHC, Jean-François was a change agent and mediator for the Canada Customs and Revenue Agency. His mandate was to prepare managers throughout the organization for the cultural shift resulting from the administrative consolidation of Customs and Excise with Taxation and the transition to agency status.
Jean-François has more than 30 years of experience in design, development, and facilitation of training programs or interventions in management and leadership development, strategic planning, interpersonal skills development and enhancement, and conflict resolution. In the past 15 years, his skills have been retained as a facilitator and speaker by numerous organizations in the private and public sector.
Some of his customers have included: Bell Helicopter Textron, Labbatt Breweries Ltd., Ault Food Ltd., Ford Canada Ltd., Canadian Pacific Hotels, Department of National Defense, Justice Canada, Industry Canada, Mounted Police Foundation, Fisheries and Oceans Canada, the Canada Public Service Agency, Citizenship and Immigration Canada, and Canadian International Institute of Applied Negotiation.
