Organization development is the art and practice of linking people with purpose. It employs a systems perspective, thoughtfully aligning elements of structures, strategy, process, leadership, learning, and relationships for maximum strategic leverage.
OD Foundations provides the theories, insights, and lessons you need to learn to align your organization’s people systems with its strategic goals. The first offering in a new certificate series from the Queen’s IRC, OD Foundations gives solid grounding in an area of increasing importance to HR practitioners.
Your Opportunity
During this four-day program you'll learn to:
understand and apply IRC’s blueprint for optimal OD;
deepen your understanding of the dynamics of human systems;
diagnose the need for people systems change;
design and implement appropriate interventions;
apply the principles of OD practice: systems thinking, action research, client focus, and involvement; and
create a personal plan for your own OD development.

OD Foundations is geared to HR and OD practitioners, team leaders, external and internal consultants, planners, and implementers of change who want to learn to a leading-edge methodology for understanding and achieving optimal OD.
