Research: Symposium Program

Research Symposium Program

We are currently developing and conducting research in three important areas:

  • Dispute resolution
  • Change
  • Teams

Each year, the Industrial Relations Centre hosts an academic symposium related to one of these three research themes.

The symposium is designed to bring together academics engaged in the relevant research as well as a broader audience of scholars, researchers, students, senior practitioners, and government representatives. The main objectives of the symposium are to share new research findings, emphasize the practical significance of the research and how it contributes to the existing base of knowledge, discuss the impact and implications of the research for theory, practice and policy, and to stimulate further research.

A volume of proceedings from the symposium will be published and widely disseminated.

To view research papers delivered at the Symposium on High Performance Professional Teams on October 12, 2005, go to the Knowledge Centre.
